Does anyone really need any more reason to AVOID MEXICO for ANY REASON ?  Now we have this case that shows the depth of corruption in Mexico and that they will stop at nothing to extort money from elsewhere.  This is how desperate the situation is in Mexico and I don’t know why any American would go there at this point.  Read the following horrific story and CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN and SENATORS to have them get this poor guy and his grandson RELEASED IMMEDIATELY from the MEXICAN PRISON!

The family of an Arlington man and son blames corruption for their arrest.

ARLINGTON — Edward Chrisman just wanted to take a day trip across the Mexican border with his grandson.

Now, the 88-year-old Arlington man and his grandson are being held in a Mexican federal prison with no release in sight.

Chrisman was spending his winter in Yuma, Ariz., when his grandson, Gary Chrisman Jr., invited him along on a trip to get inexpensive dental treatment.

Mexican police arrested the pair Jan. 8 on pornography charges after Gary Chrisman took a photo of two fully clothed young women in a convenience store in Algodones, Mexico.

For nearly two weeks the Chrismans’ family has been scrambling. Both men say they are innocent. Their relatives are convinced the pair are victims of a corrupt system attempting to shake down the family for cash, said Shannon Perkins, Edward Chrisman’s granddaughter.

She and her father, Gary Chrisman Sr. of Yuma, have traveled across the border daily.

“When they see Americans, they see money,” Perkins said of the Mexican justice officials they’ve met. “Every one of them is crooked.”

Edward Chrisman is an unlikely international criminal.

An Arlington resident for most of his life, Chrisman is described by family as a religious man who has attended the Arlington Assembly of God Church for decades. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked as a civil service machinist for the Navy before retiring years ago.

Edward Chrisman was married to his wife, Norma, for 63 years. He cared for her until her death from Alzheimer’s in 2007.

“How in heaven’s name could this happen in our world today?” asked Kathy Carlin, who works at Chrisman’s church. “Talk about the epitome of innocent. This just blows me away.”

The church of 350 is in shock, she said. Chrisman is “like the church grandpa,” she said.

Here’s what family says happened:

Chrisman and his 40-year-old grandson traveled from Yuma to Algodones, Mexico, eight miles south. The town is known for offering heavily discounted prescriptions and cut-rate medical and dental care.

After Gary Chrisman’s dental work, the pair stopped at a convenience store. Edward Chrisman waited in the car while his grandson went to buy a soda. Gary Chrisman said he asked a family in the convenience store if he could pay them $25 to take their photos. He’d been taking photos of Mexican culture all day with a new camera.

The mother granted permission and took his money. He snapped headshots of her two daughters, 17 and 18, and left the store.

The elder Chrisman never got out of the car.

Local police arrested both men a few minutes later. Their money, passports and other belongings were taken. The pair were placed in a holding cell in Morelos. The charge: “intent for pornography.”

The men later told family that for two days they had nothing to eat and no place to use the bathroom. On the third day, a charitable organization brought them food, blankets and an old mattress to sleep on. Gary Chrisman asked the man delivering the items to contact his family.

Gary Chrisman’s family hired a Mexican lawyer, who seemed confident the charges had no merit. After six days, the case was brought in front of a judge. Both men were asked questions about their annual incomes. The family was told both men were found innocent. The judge said they’d be released the next day.

But when the family came to pick up the men, authorities said the verdict had been changed. Both men were transferred to a prison in Mexicali, the capital of the Mexican state of Baja California Norte.

Authorities refused to share court documents with the family.

Perkins fears her grandfather won’t survive.

Saturday, the only visiting day, Perkins waited in line for hours to see the two. They were being held in a concrete cell with 40 other prisoners. The room had one toilet and her grandfather had been sleeping on a metal bed frame with no mattress.

He looked dehydrated and disoriented, she said. The prisoners leave the cell twice a day, when they’re shackled together and ordered to move at a jog to the cafeteria. At one point, her grandfather couldn’t keep up and a guard shoved him, Perkins said.

Her grandfather is a soft-spoken, gentle man, she said. He didn’t complain.

“He’s a trouper,” she said.

Family in Yuma have contacted legislators, including Sen. John McCain’s office, and the U.S. consulate in Mexico.

“The U.S. Consulate repeatedly told us all they can do legally is make sure the prisoners are cared for and treated humanely,” Perkins said. “They can’t advise us.”

They also tried to contact Congressman Rick Larson and Sen. Patty Murray.

The consulate has suggested another Mexican lawyer and started an investigation. No trial date has been set. The family has been told the pair could linger in prison for months.

Calls from The Herald to the Mexican Secretary of Public Security in Baja California, the organization that runs the courts, were not answered.

Perkins said that her family already has paid $3,000 to attorneys and others in the Mexican justice system, all of whom offered resolution in the case.

Guilt or innocence seems immaterial, Perkins said, adding “The longer you’re there, the more money you pay.”

I, as an American, am sick and tired of tolerating this crap-hole of a country at our southern border. It’s time we get tough with Mexico.  How would they like it if we started rounding up Mexicans here illegally and held them in prisons? Oh yeah that’s what ICE is supposed to do.. wouldn’t it be nice if they actually did such a thing????

Time and time again we have heard from the left wingnuts like Ruben Navarrette Jr, a non-apologetic pro-illegal alien American invasion supporter - and from racist groups like The National Council of La Raza that Americans who are speaking out against the invasion of MILLIONS of ILLEGAL ALIENS are DEMONIZING the poor hard-working “immigrants” who are seeking a better life and because of that, these poor hard-working immigrants seeking their “American Dream” are being attacked, murdered and driven out of their new country.

Well I have news for all you race baiting whores. It is the Americans who are being DEMONIZED when these racist pro-invasion groups tell us we are “racists” for objecting to the invasion of millions of people coming here illegally. We are mean. We are bigots. We are nativists.  You name it - we are the bad guys for standing up and speaking out. Not the illegal aliens who are sneaking across our border DAILY by the THOUSANDS.  No - they are just poor immigrants looking for a better life.

Oh really? You mean like the MS-13 gang members that are made up mostly of illegal aliens? Or maybe the Mexican Drug Cartels that are operating within our country now - kidnapping children and adults alike..  

The TRUTH here is - it is the very act of illegal immigration that is causing Americans to get ANGRY. It is not that Americans are speaking out that is causing the anger to spill over into attacks. It is the fact that they have invaded our country and DO NOT BELONG HERE that is causing the anti-Mexican illegal alien backlash.

These blatant attempts to silence our outrage is clear. They want to label us and it is THEY who are DEMONIZING US not the other way around!  It is the open borders racist groups such as MALDEF, LULAC, The National Council of THE RACE, MeCHA, the ACLU, the ADL and hundreds of smaller open borders “coalitions” which are funded by these larger groups - who are CREATING THE HATE.

It is the DEMANDS by the illegal alien invaders for us to bend over and give them MORE MORE MORE that is creating the HATE and yes it is in fact HATE.  It is not those who are pointing out the obvious. It is not those who are saying “STOP THE INVASION” who are creating the hate. It is the ILLEGAL ALIENS AND THEIR ACTIONS CREATING THE HATE.

I can say without a doubt that more and more Americans HATE the ILLEGAL ALIEN INVASION OF OUR COUNTRY and yes that is going to result in SOME people acting out their hate on those who are the cause of the invasion.

The solution? GO HOME.

Ever wonder why there is not as much of an outcry against Polish or Irish illegal aliens?  Well it’s actually very simple. THEY ARE NOT MARCHING IN OUR STREETS AND LOBBYING OUR CONGRESS WITH HEAVILY FUNDED PRO-AMNESTY REPRESENTATIVES TO GET MORE OUT OF THIS COUNTRY THAN THEY ALREADY ARE GETTING.

The smart illegals have stayed in the shadows. The stupid ones, which apparently are from Mexico and South America - think that making demands of their invaded country host will actually make us love them more… Apparently they did not get to the classes where they taught Newton’s Third Law of Motion:

For every action there is an equal and opposite REACTION.

The backlash that the RACIST PRO-ILLEGAL GROUPS want to call a “Wave of Hate” from demonizing illegal aliens is actually very simply the REACTION by more and more Americans to that very invasion and that very arrogance which the mostly Hispanic invaders carry.  We’re going to invade your country and take money from your pockets Americans and YOU ARE GOING TO LIKE IT OR ELSE.

So if this isn’t enought evidence to throw the top people from ACORN into prison and recall ALL of their phony registrations in EVERY state I don’t know what else is?  How much more are Americans supposed to take of this OUTRIGHT FRAUD by a group that proclaims on it’s website that “ACORN takes no government funding so they can remain objective (LIE) and ACORN is non-partisan (LIE)“.

Teenager: I Registered To Vote 73 Times

Ohio ACORN Lands In Hot Water

 A Cleveland teenager who claims he registered to vote 73 times over a five-month period has set of alarm bells among election officials in Ohio’s most populous county.

The bipartisan Cuyahoga County Board of Elections in Cleveland voted unanimously Monday to ask Prosecutor Bill Mason to investigate multiple registrations by four people, including 19-year-old Freddie Johnson.

All four said they signed forms at the behest of a community organizing group, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform, known as ACORN.

Johnson said he was trying to help paid ACORN solicitors collect signed registrations. He said he has not voted, and said he filled out the cards because he was given cigarettes and about $20.

The fracas is the latest round in a battle over ACORN’s impact on voter registration this year. The group says it has signed up 1.3 million poor and working-class voters in a mass registration drive in 18 states this year.

In Pennsylavania, the district attorney for the Pittsburgh area is investigating possible forgery and other irregularities on voter registration forms turned in by ACORN.

Mike Manko, a spokesman for the Allegheny County district attorney, said fewer than 100 registration forms were apparently forged or otherwise illegitimate.

ACORN issued a statement Friday dismissing the fraud allegations in Pennsylvania as an attempt by a relatively small group of political operatives “to orchestrate hysteria about ‘voter fraud.’”

Oh really? Well I’ll tell you what ACORN - I am HYSTERICAL about YOUR GROUP being ANYWHERE NEAR THE VOTER REGISTRATION PROCESS EVER AGAIN IN YOUR LIFETIMES.

Obama and two other lawyers in 1995 represented ACORN in a lawsuit against the state of Illinois to make voter registration easier. During this year’s primary, Obama hired a firm with ties to the group for a massive get-out-the-vote effort.

The surge in new voters helped propel Obama to his party’s presidential nomination, and it may carry over to the general election — 9 million newly registered voters who are overwhelmingly Democratic could add up to a big victory on Election Day.

In states where registration is recorded by party, including eight key states that could decide the election, voters have signed up Democratic in the past six months by a margin of nearly 4-1.

However, simply registering voters, even when the numbers are skewed so heavily toward one party, is no guarantee of success.

Historically, voter turnout among new registrants has been low. And while candidates have months to run registration drives, they have only a tiny window — several days during early balloting, just hours on Election Day — to get out the vote.

Still, an Associated Press analysis of registration data found that if the millions of newly registered voters turn out at the same rate as in 2004 and cast ballots with their declared party of choice, Obama could have the votes he needs to wrest several battleground states away from the Republican Party and its nominee, Sen. John McCain.

This should concern EVERY American - not just the Republicans.  These people have stepped on and besmirched the precious right to vote for cigarettes and $20. How very sad that our country has come to this.

Ok as if the bailout in general isn’t bad enough, apparently there are some EARMARKS in there which is congressional code for FAVORS that specifies that The National Council of LA RAZA, ACORN and other groups that benefit only “people of color” will be FIRST IN LINE to get any profits made on this “investment” in the failed banks that chose to lend to subprime lenders. The kicker is - it is THESE SAME GOUPS who lobbied to give mortgages to these high risk borrowers in the first place and they got OUR MONEY to make that happen - to the tune of millions of dollars in “Federal Housing” grants.  So these same groups who pushed mortgage lenders to lend money to people BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE which is in itself a VIOLATION OF THE FAIR HOUSING ACT - now that these subprime mortgages have bankrupted those Institutions, these same groups are going to benefit from OUR TAX MONEY ONCE AGAIN.

You need to call your congress rats NOW and DEMAND TO REMOVE THIS EARMARK. Not only that but you need to DEMAND THAT THEY PUT OVERSIGHT INTO THE BAILOUT, THEY ARREST THE EXECUTIVES WHO CAUSED THE FAILURE INSTEAD OF GIVING THEM MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN REWARDS!

This is an outrage even more serious than the 2006 Amnesty attempt. These politicians are intent on breaking the backs of the American people and pushing the agendas of the leftists, the socialists, the illegal aliens and the Communists.
